I need to change the date and/or time of my booking.You can use your confirmation email to make changes to your booking. This includes date, time, amount of guests. You may need to change your booking date or time when making changes due to availability.
Why do you require a card capture? Will I be charged?Card captures are there in place to protect our restaurant from devastating no-shows and disappointing late cancellations. Both have a massive effect on our business. We put the card capture in place to help us tackle this and ensure every booking is legit. You'll only ever be charged our £5pp fee if you do not arrive for your table or cancel with less than an hours notice. All this information can be viewed on our terms and conditions when booking. Every table must complete a card capture. Without a capture, you cannot book. We use Stripe, the world's leading, and most trusted, card processing partners.
How can I book a table?Bookings are only accepted online. This is to help us with GDPR and protecting your data. Bookings cannot be placed over the phone. Tables of 2-10 can book instantly on our widget. Tables of 11 or more will need to submit a booking request.
Pre-orders for large parties (and surprise guests)We require a pre-order (and deposit) for all tables of 11 or more people. Pre-orders must include every guests name, starter (if so) and main order. You cannot pre-order desserts at this time. We understand some parties like to surprise guests with larger tables, however, we must have the pre-order for all guests dining on a large table. This means you must pre-order for everyone dining and these guests regretfully cannot order on the night or on arrival. We understand this can be frustrating for party leaders but unfortunately it's a policy we have in place to protect our kitchen team from delay and ensure all tables in the restaurant receive the same level of service, quality of food and acceptable waits.
Can I use a gift voucher against an offer?Yes, gift vouchers can be used against anything except JustEat for Shakeaway orders. So even if you're claiming an offer, like Steak Night, you can use your voucher against the price.
Can we bring decorations and a cake?Yes and Yes. Decorations are more than welcome (confetti and party poppers are excluded and banners cannot be stuck to our walls). Cakes can be brought too but these must stay with the party and cannot be brought in our kitchen. This is due to allergen awareness and storage.
What payment methods are accepted?We accept cash and card payments (Visa and Mastercard). Please note we do not accept American Express.
Do you offer a takeaway service?Unfortunately we do not offer a takeaway service at this time for our food. We do offer our Ranch Shakes available on JustEat for collection (and delivery in the summer.)
Do you have parking?Unfortunately we do not have on site parking but do have many car parks nearby. We are just a short 1-2 minute walk from Queen Street and Kidgate car park. Do you offer NHS or Military discount?Unfortunately this is not something we current offer.
